Federation Member Services and Outreach
NSBA was created by state school boards associations in 1940 to provide a federal presence for local school boards. Today, NSBA serves its Federation of state school boards associations through a variety of programs and services. The Federation Member Services & Outreach Section (FMS) works in partnership with the state associations to strengthen school governance and the leadership of school board members nationwide.
Federation Member Services and Outreach includes several key departments that provide valuable programs and services to the Federation. They include:
